Muingnaminnane was connected to the grid in July 2008, with a maximum capacity of 15.3 MW. Eighteen Enercon turbines (E-44 and E-48 turbine models) have been erected and commissioned. Saorgus Energy operates the wind farm, to ensure the maximum possible output is being delivered to the grid.
