Cloghboola is a large wind farm project of 23 turbines on Cloghboola hill a few km west of Knocknagoshel in Co. Kerry. It is anticipated that large wind turbines with generation capacity of 2.0 MW each will be used at this project. This will give an overall capacity of 46 MW. Saorgus Energy has secured the connection to the electricity network for this project under Gate 2 of the Group Processing Scheme. In late 2007 Saorgus Energy sold its interest in this project.
